Give Before You Get. Mentor’s Philosophy: Success Stories

Why be a mentor, how it works, mentoring success stories, successful projects of top mentors.

The “give before you get” philosophy ideally conveys the essence of mentoring. Helping others and sharing your experience without expecting anything in return right there and then but contributing to the development of relations and the ecosystem affects the development of an innovative economy.

Many successful entrepreneurs had mentors with whom they devised the strategy of their companies’ development at the beginning of the road. The names of mentors will go down in history: Steve Jobs – one of his mentors was Andy Grove (former CEO – Intel), Mark Zuckerberg – one of his mentors was Steve Jobs, Bill Gates – one of his mentors was Warren Buffet. There is the practice of successful interaction between mentors and start ups in Russia, particularly in the Skolkovo Innovation Center.
